Manolis & Miltos Mitsias, Ioanna Kolliniati in Syros and at KOIS-OPTICS
200 years of Ermoupoli. A story that continues to inspire. It is an honour for us to have taken part in Manolis Mitsias's new music video, with our anniversary glass dedicated to the 200 years since the founding of Ermoupoli. Manolis, we warmly thank you for your love for Syros and for everything you do to highlight the history, culture and beauty of our island. 💙
What happens when you are the son of one of the greatest Greek performers and, from a young age, you mix with all the "giants" of Greek music?
Miltos Mitsias wrote a melody one morning when he was just 12 years old and waited anxiously to present it to his father when he woke up. "I didn't remember how it is to love" was the song that had just been born.
Many years later, having carved out his own personal path as a professional outside the music field, the time has come for him to introduce us to his "other self", the musician. With piano studies at the Athens Conservatoire but, above all, with the lived experience of growing up among the best of Greek music, Miltos Mitsias introduces us to the other side of his identity.
